HAINES CITY - Woodrow Hall, age 74, of Haines City, passed away from cancer on Sunday (April 15, 2007) at home.

He was born in Covenington Co., Ala. on Nov. 17, 1932 and moved to Haines City in 1953. He was a retired mechanic with L. Dicks Citrus in Dundee and a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bessie, sons, Larry K. Hall and Danny L. Hall of Haines City, daughter, Phyllis M. Hall of Lake Hamilton, brother, Willie R. Hall, of Opp, Ala.; sisters, Ruby Henderson, Faye Short, and Pauline Metcalf, all of Opp, Ala., 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM. Tuesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with services 10:00 AM. Wednesday at Church of Christ, Haines City.
