HAINES CITY, FLORIDA - Evelyn M. Hester, of Haines City, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at her residence. She was 80.

Born July 12, 1926 in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, to George Flinchum and Hattie Fulk Flinchum, she moved to Haines City in 1975 from Albany, GA. She was a homemaker and of the Southern Baptist faith.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Hester and she is survived by her sons, Phillip S. Dugger and Michael Q. Dugger; sister, Beulah Singletary; granddaughters, Erica Marie Dugger and Amanda Lee Moore; great grandchildren, Justin M. Hobbs and Makayla B. Hobbs.

Visitation will be on Thursday April 12, 2007 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Harold Butler, NorthRidge Church, Haines City officiating. Final Resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
