Davenport - Mrs. Dortha Mae Ford, 81, passed away from respiratory failure Thursday (November 16, 2006) at the Crossroads.

A native of Leachville, AR, Dortha moved here in 1950 from Milligan Ridge, AR. Dortha was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years: Ralph Ford.

Dortha is survived by a son: Ronnie Ford of Haines City; two daughters: Brenda Bowen of Davenport, and Donna Cunningham of Gillette, WY; one brother; Lamar Dunigan of Nashville, TN; and a sister: Margie Hawkins of Jonesboro, AR. Dortha also has 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sat. from 9 to 11 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home.
