Haines City - Richard "Rick" Lipinski, age 68, of Haines City, FL, died Monday, November 13, 2006, in Davenport, FL. due to complications due to surgery.

Born September 22, 1938 in Detroit, MI, and moved to the area 7 years ago from Rochester Hills, MI. He was a Sr. Reliability Engineer and Technical Writer for General Motors for 35 years and a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church where he was a member of the Men's Club and the Choir. He was a member of Winter Haven Softball League and a Gold Medallist in the Polk County Senior Olympics in the breaststroke. He was a member of Filarets Polish Choir in Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lipinski of Haines City; daughter, Laura Calchary of Radford, VA; son, Russell Lipinski of Green Bay, WI; brother Robert Lipinski of Davenport, FL; grandchildren, Amy, Wendy, Reid, Mason & Mitchell.

Visitation will be Thursday 11/16/06 from 3-7 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will be Friday 11/17/06 at 11 a.m. at Lamb of God Lutheran Church.

The family has asked that memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to Lamb of God Lutheran Church, Music Department 901 Scenic Hwy S., Haines City, FL 33844.
