Lake Park, Ga. - Louise Sage Thornhill, 84, of Lake Park and formerly of Davenport, Florida, died at home Monday, October 30, 2006 of kidney failure.
Born in St. Cloud, Florida on November 23, 1921, she was the daughter of the late James and Della Adams Sage. She was a graduate of Florida Southern and taught Industrial Arts in the Florida school system. While living in Lake Park she had attended airport Church of Christ. Mrs. Thornhill was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are her husband, Roscoe Thornhill, also of Lake Park, her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Jeanne Thornhill, Tim and Lea Thornhill of Dasher, eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Haines City, Florida at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care Chapel. Mr. Sam Conley will officiate. Burial will follow at Glover Cemetery in Auburndale, Florida. The family will receive friends at Oak Ridge Funeral Care on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m.
