| | Robert C. Schutte HAINES CITY -- Mr. Robert C. Schutte of Haines City died of respiratory failure Sunday (May 14, 2006) in Lakeland. He was 79.
Born on Jan. 28, 1927, in New Jersey, he moved to Haines City from Fort Lauderdale in 1995. He was a retired salesman and truck driver for Peerless Uniforms of Fort Lauderdale. He was also a shop steward for the Teamsters union in Fort Lauderdale.
He is survived by his sons, Steve Schutte, Haines City, Robert C. Schutte, Fort Lauderdale, Tom Schutte, Deltona; daughter, Peggy Thomas, Margate; brother, Jim Schutte, New York, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in Dundee.
