HAINES CITY -- Mr. Wayne H. Moore of Haines City died on Thursday (May 18, 2006) in Haines City. He was 92.
Born in Kodol, W. Va. on Aug. 13, 1913, he moved to Haines City in 1970 from Weirton, W.Va. He was a steel mill worker for Weirton Steel for 35 years. He was a member of Haines City Masonic Lodge No. 219. He was a member of Dundee Baptist Temple.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna. E. Moore.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Moore, Allen Moore, both of Kissimmee; daughter, Shirley Roberts, Kissimmee, daughter-in-law, Mary Sue Crocker, Haines City; brother, John Moore, Weirton, W. Va.; seven grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
