LAKE ALFRED -- Mr. Earl James Stillwell of Lake Alfred died of heart failure Wednesday (May 10, 2006) in Winter Haven. He was 75.
Born in Bath Township, Ohio, on Aug. 17, 1930, he came to Lake Alfred from Fort Lauderdale in 1981. He was a welder for Highway Truck Equipment. He was an Army veteran. He was a Methodist.
Mr. Stillwell is survived by his wife, Jean Ann Wendt Stillwell; daughter, Judy Crawford, Springfield, Ohio; stepson, Charlie Moore, Lake Alfred; stepdaughter, Karon Berry, Delray Beach; brother, Charles Stillwell, Springfield; sisters, Martha Jones, Springfield, Grace Hunt, Tucson, Ariz.; one grandchild; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.
