 Alma Frances Blankenship

 


WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Alma Frances Blankenship of Winter Haven died of cancer Tuesday (May 9, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 86.

Born in Newcomb, Tenn., on April 3, 1920, she came to Winter Haven from Crofton, Md., in 1971. She was a secretary for the Anne Arundel County School Board. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by her husband, Edd Blankenship. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Lou Cranshaw, Winter Haven; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Jellico Cemetery in Jellico, Tenn.
