KATHLEEN -- Mrs. Hazel June Bryan of Kathleen died of complications following a stroke Saturday (May 6, 2006) in Lakeland. She was 75.
Born in Anderson, S.C., on June 1, 1930, Mrs. Bryan came to Dundee at the age of 9 from Tifton, Ga., before coming to Lakeland in 1960. She was a longtime sectionizer at Snively Citrus. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bryan; sons, Michael and Richard Bryan, both of Lakeland; daughter, Deborah Thoma, Lakeland; brothers, Jimmy Ivey, Lake Wales, Floyd Ivey, Haines City, John Ivey, Winter Haven, David Allen Ivey, Raleigh, N.C.; sister, Glenda Crewes, LaBelle.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
