| | Merial "Betty" Brownell HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Merial "Betty" Brownell of Haines City died of kidney failure Thursday (May 4, 2006) in Auburndale. She was 86.
Born Sept. 13, 1919, in Rural Valley, Pa., Mrs. Brownell moved to Haines City from Lady Lake in 1999. She was a homemaker. She attended First Christian Church, Haines City. She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She was a member of Christian Women's Fellowship.
Mrs. Brownell is survived by her husband, Donald Brownell; niece, Jean Stanley, Haines City.
Services will be 11 a.m. May 20 at First Christian Church, Haines City.
