LAKE WALES -- Mr. Robert Lee Rexford Jr. of Lake Wales died of lung disease Tuesday (May 2, 2006) in Winter Haven. He was 80.
Born in Davenport on Aug. 26, 1925, he was a lifelong resident of Polk County. He was the owner and operator of Central Florida York Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Rexford is survived by his daughters, Thersa Rexford, Eastern Tennessee, Susan Petry, Orlando; sister, Rose Stephenson, Lake Wales; one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
