| | Bob Van Blaircum GREGORY, Mich. -- Mr. Bob Van Blaircum of Gregory, Mich., a winter resident of Davenport, died of heart failure Monday (May 1, 2006) in Davenport. He was 73.
Born in Pinckney, Mich., on Feb. 27, 1933, he became a winter resident of Davenport in 1985, coming from Howell, Mich. He retired from Rockwell International Spring Plant in Chelsea, Mich. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City and St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Pinckney, Mich., and was a member of the Men's Club at St. Mary's. He was a member of the United Auto Workers.
Mr. Van Blaircum was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Kay Kelly Van Blaircum and Betty J. Abbott. He is survived by his sons, Kelly Van Blaircum, Patrick Van Blaircum, both of Gregory, Mich.; brother, Bruce Van Blaircum, Pinckney; sisters, Betty Crockett, Gregory, Anna Hoover, Chelshea, Mich.; two grandchildren.
