AUBURNDALE -- Mrs. Elnora L. Vernon of Auburndale died of heart failure Tuesday (March 28, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 74.
Born in Standish, Mich., on April 13, 1931, she came to Auburndale from Michigan 34 years ago. She was a clerk for Act II Consignment Shop. She was a Presbyterian.
Mrs. Vernon is survived by her daughter, Victoria Marie Vernon Hackedy, Auburndale; sons, Gregory Todd Vernon, Lakeland, Geoffrey Scott Vernon, Vancouver, Wash., William Richard Vernon, Lakeland; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.
