AUBURNDALE -- Mrs. Geraldine C. Carter of Auburndale died of cancer Friday (March 24, 2006). She was 74.
Born March 15, 1932, in Paxton, Mrs. Carter moved to Auburndale from there in 1946. She was a homemaker. She attended Grace Community Church.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband of 58 years, Randall S. Carter, Auburndale; son, Gary S. Carter, Winter Haven; daughters, RoxAnn Huckaba, Auburndale, Del Marie Overstreet, Auburndale, Donna Jean Denmark, Winter Haven; brothers, Royal Newton Cox, Punta Gorda, Charles Edward Cox, Eagle Lake, Norwood Ellis Cox, Highland City; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
