WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Florence L. Webb of Winter Haven died of congestive heart failure Monday (March 13, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 98.
Born in East Port, Maine, on Aug. 25, 1907, she came to Winter Haven from Exton, Pa., in 1969. She was a homemaker. She worked at Cypress Gardens for 21 years. She was a Methodist.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Webb. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Webb Furrey, Winter Haven; sister, Reba Ostroski, Milford, Del.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Graveside services will be at noon Saturday at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, Pa.
