HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Shirley L. Owen Taylor of Haines City died of complications from surgery Sunday (March 12, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 75.
Born in Fortville, Ind., on Dec. 23, 1930, she came to Haines City from Pendleton, Ind., in 1993. She was an executive secretary for Eli Lilly and Co. in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, David K. Taylor; daughter, Dana L. Smith, Pendleton; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held at a later date in Pendleton, Ind.
