William “Bill’’ Lindgren

 

WINTER HAVEN — Mr. William “Bill’’ Lindgren of Winter Haven died of cancer Friday (March 3, 2006) in Winter Haven. He was 77.

Born in Duluth, Minn., on March 2, 1929, he came to Winter Haven from Lake Wales one year ago. He worked for U.S. Steel and Marigold Foods. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 3915, and the American Legion in Princeton, Minn. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Proctor, Minn. He was Lutheran.

Mr. Lindgren is survived by his wife, Marlene Lindgren; sons, Scott Lindgren, Coon Rapigs, Minn., Jeff Lindgren, Champlin, Minn.; daughter, Debra Cole, Oakdale, Minn.; sister, Mildred O’Connor, Virginia, Minn.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
