DAVENPORT -- Mr. William Edward Dwyer of Davenport died of heart failure Monday (June 19, 2006) at home. He was 70.
Born in Chicago on Dec. 18, 1935, he came to Davenport from Beecher, Ill., in 1993. He was a systems analyst for Federated Liquor Distributors. He was president of the St. James School Board. He was president of the Holy Name Society at St. James Church and school in South Village, Ill.
Mr. Dwyer is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Dwyer; sons, William E. Dwyer III, Beecher, Michael F. Dwyer, Crete, Ill.; daughters, Kathryn Dwyer, Park Forest, Ill., Margaret Mack, Chicago Heights, Ill., Sharon Moore, Wheatfield, Ind., Mary Ellen Nelson, Mesa, Ariz.; brothers, Timothy Dwyer, Crestwood, Ill., Francis Dwyer, Tinley Park, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
