DAVENPORT -- Mr. William "Bill" Robert Blair of Davenport died of cancer Monday (June 19, 2006) in Davenport. He was 61.
Born in Detroit on Nov. 8, 1944, he came to Davenport in 1989. He worked in construction maintenance for the city of Westland, Mich. He was a member of Wayne Lodge No. 112 F & AM in Wayne, Mich., and the Scottish Rite Valley in Detroit. He was a Protestant.
Mr. Blair is survived by his wife, Kathryn Ann Montgomery Blair; sons, Donald Blair, Memphis, Tenn., David Blair, Westland; brother, James "Jim" Blair, Vanderbilt, Mich.; sister, Janet Kocham, Westland; two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Westland.
