WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Malvinia Stewart of Winter Haven died of heart failure Wednesday (June 14, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 85.
Born in Altha, Fl on Dec. 16, 1920, she came to Winter Haven from there in 1941. She was a homemaker. She was a member of West Winter Haven Church of God.
Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel "Sammy" Stewart. She is survived by her daughters, Laverne Stewart Addison, Auburndale, Rene' Martha Stewart Harrison, Winter Haven; sons, John Stewart, Winter Haven, Larry Stewart, Auburndale; brothers, John Thomas Roberts, Winter Haven, James Roberts, Melbourne; sisters, Montez Green, Hazel Baggett, both of Winter Haven; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Winter Haven.
