DAVENPORT -- Mr. Randolph T. Tyler of Davenport died of heart failure Sunday (June 4, 2006) in Davenport. He was 48.
Born in Loris, S.C., on Aug. 12, 1957, he came to Davenport from there in 1964. He was a heavy equipment operator for Standard Sand and Silica in Davenport for more than 19 years.
Mr. Tyler is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Tyler, Davenport; father, Cole Tyler, Davenport; grandmother, Snowie Dudney, Haines City; brothers, Dustin Tyler, Wendell Tyler, both of Loris, S.C., Chris Tyler, Davenport; sister, Brenda G. Till, Lake Wales.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
