BAINBRIDGE, Ga. -- Mrs. Erin S. Daniel of Bainbridge, Ga., formerly of Haines City, died of pneumonia Monday (May 29, 2006) in Bainbridge. She was 90.
Born in Crenshaw County, Ala., on Nov. 21, 1915, she lived in Haines City for 60 years before moving to Bainbridge eight years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Haines City and taught Sunday school.
Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Daniel. She is survived by her son, Joe Daniel, Bainbridge; daughter, Carol Young, Tallahassee; brother, Glenn Stringer, Montgomery, Ala.; sister, Opal Peterson, Montgomery; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 this morning at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
