AUBURNDALE -- Mr. Gary Lynn Coleman of Auburndale died of heart failure Thursday (July 6, 2006) in Winter Haven. He was 59.
Born in Ashland, Ore., on March 10, 1947, he came to Auburndale from Plantation in 1993. He was a pilot for United Parcel Service. He was an RC Builder and Flyer and a member of the American Model Airplane Association. He was a member of the Seventhday Adventist Church in Winter Haven.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Chic Coleman; son, Christopher Lynn Coleman, Auburndale; daughter, Alissa Lynne Coleman, Auburndale; sister, Teri Johnson, Modesto, Calif.; father, Darrell Coleman, Modesto; mother, Alice Coleman, Modesto.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Winter Haven.
