WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Bobbie Sue Kierce of Winter Haven died of breast cancer Wednesday (July 5, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 66.
Born in Geneva, Ala., on July 17, 1939, she came to Winter Haven from Fort Lauderdale in 1980. She was a supervisor at the Winter Haven Staples. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake.
Mrs. Kierce is survived by her husband, James R. Kierce; sons, Randy Kierce, Fort Lauderdale, Tom Kierce, Lakeland, Kenny Kierce, Winter Haven; daughter, Vicki Batson, Lake Wales; sisters, Jean Ellen Spears, Betty Mims, Donaldsonville, Ga., Frieda Welch, Plant City; 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Auburndale Memorial Park.
