HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Sue V. Payne of Haines City died of heart failure Friday (June 30, 2006) in Davenport. She was 83.
Born April 16, 1923, in Cleaton, Ky., she moved to Florida from Kentucky in 1965. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Haines City.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Morris Payne. She is survived by her sons, Nick Payne, Haines City, David Payne, Douglasville, Ga.; daughters, Sheila Richardson, Mosheim, Tenn., Karen Payne-Taylor, Andover, Mass., Marsha Payne, Woodstock, Ga.; brother, Sonny Sadler, Haines City; seven grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 7 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Haines City. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg.
