| | Johanna Van Biezen HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Johanna Van Biezen of Haines City died of pancreatic cancer Thursday (Jan. 5, 2006) in Auburndale. She was 87.
Born in Leider, the Netherlands, on June 12, 1918, she came to Haines City from Hyde Park, N.Y., in 1977. She was a nurse for the Consul General for the Netherlands. She was also an assistant to the reference librarian at the Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She was a volunteer at the Regency Center in Winter Haven. She was a member of First Christian Church in Haines City.
Mrs. Van Biezen was preceded in death by her husband, William Van Biezen.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at First Christian Church in Haines City.
