WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Clarence James Nichols of Winter Haven died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Monday (Jan. 2, 2006) in Winter Haven. He was 74.
Born in Clinton, Mass., on Aug. 19, 1931, he came to Winter Haven in 1992. He was a computer specialist for Unisys Corp. He also worked at Bramble Ridge Golf Course. He was an Army veteran, and a life member of the American Legion. He was a member of the VFW and Civitan Club in Clinton. He was a member of the BPO of Elks.
Mr. Nichols is survived by his nieces, Denise McNamara, Clinton, Mass., Diane Bodine, Ashburnham, Mass.; nephews, Edward McNamara, John McNamara, William McNamara, all of Clinton, Vincent McNamara, Del Rio, Texas; caregiver, Lori Martin, Lakeland.
Services will be held at a later date in Lakeland and Clinton.
