DAVENPORT -- Mr. Howard McClellan of Davenport died of cancer Tuesday (Jan. 3, 2006) at home. He was 64.
Born in Walnut Hill on June 9, 1941, he was a longtime resident of Davenport. He was a retired supervisor for Sloan Construction.
Mr. McClellan is survived by his wife, Millie McClellan; sons, Harold McClellan, Ray McClellan, both of Davenport, George McClellan, Sam McClellan, both of Haines City, Earl McClellan, Sanford; stepson, Rod Mayberry; daughters, Wanda Mehia, Haines City, Missy Scherzer, Somona Hoffman, both of Davenport, Mildred Pickern, South Carolina; brothers, Lloyd McClellan, Intercession City, Tim Eddins, George Eddins, both of Pensacala; sisters, Velma Right, Nancy Harvell, Christine Blan, all of Pensacola; 18 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Davenport.
