| | Norbert "Bud" Ashoff 
WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Norbert "Bud" Ashoff of Winter Haven died of cancer Saturday (Dec. 31, 2005). He was 86.
Born April 6, 1919, in Duquesne, Pa., Mr. Ashoff was a longtime resident of this area. He served in the Merchant Marines. He managed restaurants for Howard Johnson and McDonald's. He was a member of Thousand Trails. He was a Catholic.
Mr. Ashoff is survived by his wife, Mary Ashoff, Winter Haven; daughter, Sally Jean Ashoff, California; stepdaughters, Sara Hubbard and Katherine McQuown, both of Lakeland, Mary Jo Henderson, St. Petersburg; stepson, John Firebaugh, Auburndale; brother, Jerry Ashoff, Irwin, Pa.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
