WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. John C. Sharp of Winter Haven died of heart failure Saturday (Feb. 18, 2006) in Davenport. He was 73.
Born in Leipsic, Del., on Nov. 22, 1932, he came to Winter Haven from Delaware 10 years ago. He worked in shipping and receiving for McArdell Desco Plumbing Supply and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was of the Wesleyan faith.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Sharp; son, John C. Sharp Jr., Cecilton, Md.; daughter, Sheila Reynolds, Townsend, Del.; brother, George Sharp, New Castle, Del.; sister, Mae Berkley, Virginia; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 West Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.
