WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Agnes Rose Corby, 73, of Winter Haven passed away, Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Resident Center in Auburndale, FL as a result of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Born June 19, 1932 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania , She came to the area in 1958 from Milwaukee, WI. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven and was retired from Coca-Cola Foods as an administrative Assistant. Mrs. Corby was also a member of the Italian-American Club and the Sigma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi in Winter Haven, FL. Mrs. Corby is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Agnes Steininger Fenzl. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Don Corby of Winter Haven; a daughter, Luann Owens, her husband Donnie Owens, Jr. of Winter Haven; a brother, Bill Fenzl of Milwaukee, WI; two grandsons, Hunter and T.J. Bowden of Winter Haven, FL; a granddaughter, Kayla Owens of Winter Haven, FL; and mother-in-law, Theresa Mortl of Winter Haven, FL. The Family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven with a Vigil Service at 6:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, February 9, 2006 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ralph DuWell officiating. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery, Winter Haven, Florida. |
