HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Elsie G. Lott, of Haines City, died Monday (Jan. 30, 2006) of a chronic breathing disorder in Winter Haven. She was 87.
Born Aug. 3, 1918, in Nashville, Ga., Mrs. Lott came to Polk County from Coffee County, Ga., in 1941.
She worked at Cypress Gardens as a gift shop clerk and at the Salvation Army.
She belonged to St. Ann Catholic Church, Haines City.
Mrs. Lott is survived by her sons, Henry Thomas Lott, Lakeland, Archie Lott, Hahira, Ga.; daughters, Margaret P. Williams, Jacksonville, Patricia Y. Varnadoe, Lake Hamilton; eight grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. today at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Ridge.
