WINTER HAVEN - James William "JW" Ghent, 65 of Winter Haven, passed away from cancer Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

A native of Jackson, MI, born March 21, 1941, JW moved here over 20 years ago. He was a Maintenance Manager for Mid-State Truss for over 20 years, and a member of the Winter Haven Moose Lodge.

JW is survived his companion: Maureen "Dolly" Waller of Winter Haven, two sons: Troy Ghent of Jackson, MI; Jason Ghent of Youngstown, OH; a daughter: Valerie Ghent of Jackson, MI; a brother: Robert Ghent of Leesburg, FL; four sisters: Nancy Mulvaney of Leesburg, FL; Gloria Hall, Judy Harris, and Joann VanWagner-all of Jackson, MI; Dolly's children: Ramona Council of Naples, FL; Debbie Lowery of Cooper City, FL; Patricia Williams of Winter Haven, and one grand-daughter.

Memorial services will be held Friday at 6:30 PM from the Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.
