WINTER HAVEN - Pauline DuBois, age 54, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away at home, surrounded by her loved ones on December 21.
She fought a courageous and inspirational two and one half year battle against lung cancer. She was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on February 5, 1952 and is the daughter of Rita Carpentier of Winter Haven and the late Conrad Carpentier.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Gary; her daughter, Dawn Vadeboncoeur, her son-in-law, Brian, and the joys of Pauline’s life, her grandchildren Kayla and Jared Vadeboncoeur, West Warwick, Rhode Island; her son, Dr. Steven DuBois, Boston, Massachusetts; her brother, Rene Carpentier, Woonsocket, Rhode Island; her sister, Susan Saucier, Seekonk, Massachusetts; and many wonderful friends in Florida and Rhode Island.
Pauline was a waitress at Four Lakes Golf Club in Winter Haven for seven years and a day care provider for 20 years in Rhode Island. She will now continue her work in heaven caring for and serving others.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 11am, Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at Four Lakes Golf Club in Winter Haven at a date and time to be announced.
