WINTER HAVEN - Rodney James Dutcher, age 59, of Winter Haven, Fla., died Saturday, December 9, 2006, at his residence in due to cancer.

Born May 10, 1947 in Rochester, NY, Mr. Dutcher moved to Winter Haven in 1986 from Rochester, NY. He was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, loved sports and loved to play golf.

He is survived by his wife June F (Gross) Dutcher; One Son, Daniel Dutcher of Rochester, N.Y.; his mother, Ivah W. Dutcher of Winter Haven, FL; Three Brothers, Melton Dutcher, Jr. of Baltimore, Md., Douglas Dutcher of Sonora, Calif. And Cris Dutcher of Albuquerque, NM.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd, Winter Haven. A service will follow at 7:00 PM after the visitation with Rev. Mark Bernthal officiating.
