HAINES CITY - Donald T. Burtch, age 84 of Haines City passed away Wed. at his residence of cancer.

Born on May 26, 1922 in Rome, New York, he moved to Haines City from Kalispell, Montana. He was a salesman for Syracuse Steel in NY and Pacific Steel in Montana before retiring in 1999 and working at Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club, Haines City. He was a Pilot in the Navy Air Corp during WW II. and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Survived by wife Katherine, son Don Burtch, Kalispell, Montana; daughter Sue Chaney, Haines City; 4 grandchildren, Kristi A. Burtch, Christopher T. Burtch, Patrick Chaney, Diana Stowe; 2 great-grandchildren Trenton Chaney, Daren Chaney.

Memorial services 2:30 pm Tuesday 12/12/06 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice or Cancer Research.
