HAINES CITY - Doris J. Batchelor, age 81, of Haines City, died of COPD Sunday (Dec. 3, 2006.)

Born on June 30, 1925 in DeFuniak Springs, Fl she came here in 1943 from DeFuniak Springs. She was a citrus grader at Haines City Citrus Growers Association for 13 years. She was of the Mormon faith.

Mrs. Batchelor was preceded in death by husband Arlis.

She is survived by: sons, Buddy, Grady and Ray; daughters, Susan Bowels, Janice Watson, Dorothy Gifford; brother, Dan Daughtery; sister, Bessie Tomlinson; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends can call 5 - 7 PM. Thursday with services 2:00 PM. Friday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
