WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Evelyn P. Powell of Winter Haven died of heart failure Monday (April 24, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 78.
Born in Winter Haven on Sept. 22, 1927, she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Dundee Baptist Church.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her husband, William L. Powell; son, Dallas Powell, Winter Haven.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Park, Winter Haven.
