Donna A. Alamillo

WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Donna A. Alamillo of Winter Haven died of colon cancer Sunday (April 23, 2006) at home. She was 58.

Born May 1, 1947, in Great Barrington, Mass., she came to Winter Haven from Massachusetts 28 years ago. She worked in quality control for Maxi Jet Irrigation Co. She was a child advocate for the Guardian ad Litem program. She was a member of Sisters in Christ Cancer Survivors Group and a Team Three member of Christ Renews His Parish. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she was a member of Curcillo and a CCD teacher.

Mrs. Alamillo is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Alamillo; daughter, Robin Angle, Winter Haven; brothers, Donald White, North Carolina, Timothy White, Hawaii, William White, Kissimmee, Tony White, Winter Haven, Craig White, Canaan, Conn., and Lee Lovett, Poincianna; mother, Bernice Lovett, Winter Haven; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 W. Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Winter Haven.
