HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Alma J. NeSmith of Haines City died of heart failure Sunday (April 23, 2006) in Davenport. She was 83.
Born Feb. 11, 1923, in Sumatra, she came to Haines City from Ochlochnee, Ga., in 1946. She was a grader for Lake Hamilton Co-Op. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Haines City.
Mrs. NeSmith was preceded in death by her husband, Sam NeSmith. She is survived by her sons, Pete NeSmith, Lake Wales, and Titus NeSmith, Winter Haven; four grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
