HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Nonie S. Martin of Haines City died of heart failure Friday (April 21, 2006). She was 95.
Born Aug. 7, 1910, in Red Level, Ala., Mrs. Martin moved to Florida from Alabama in 1939. She worked for Dundee Citrus Growers. She attended Lake Region Baptist Church.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Martin. She is survived by her sons, Gerald Martin and Jamie Martin, both of Haines City; daughter, Doris Long, Fort Myers; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
