AUBURNDALE -- Mr. Joseph M. Bozung Jr. of Auburndale died of lung cancer Wednesday (April 19, 2006) in Auburndale. He was 70.
Born in Lansing, Mich., on May 9, 1935, he came to Auburndale from there in 1985. He worked for Atlas Drop Forge, a division of Dana Corp -Hammerman. He was an Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post No. 8 in Winter Haven. He was a member of the Federated Polish Hall in Lansing. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mr. Bozung is survived by his wife, Marcella "Marty" Bozung; sisters, Helen Parsons, Jean Vos, both of Holt, Mich., Sue Bassett, Lansing.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Michigan.
