| | Vera Nell Jordan 
HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Vera Nell Jordan of Haines City died of heart failure Friday (April 14, 2006) in Winter Haven. She was 81.
Born May 21, 1924, in Dublin, Ga., Mrs. Jordan moved to Haines City from Miami 40 years ago. She worked as a citrus laborer. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Gordan R. Jordan. She is survived by her daughters, Bronnie Gonzales, Haines City, Sharon Brewer, Dublin, Ga.; sisters, Carolyn Beasley, Haines City, Florine Cappodano, Citrus; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
