| | Roberta Mann Brook WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Roberta Mann Brook of Winter Haven died of lung failure Sunday (April 9, 2006) at home. She was 97.
Born in Fort Bassinger on Sept. 24, 1908, she lived in Bartow before moving to Winter Haven. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lake Region Yacht and Country Club where she was the golf club champion.
Mrs. Brook was preceded in death by her husband, Edward George Brook. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Brook Jackson, Winter Haven, and Nancie Brooke Knapp, Los Angeles; two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Bartow.
