WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Terry John Terziu of Winter Haven died of heart disease Friday (April 7, 2006). He was 53.
Born Oct. 23, 1952, in Oceanside, Calif., Mr. Terziu moved to Winter Haven from Orlando 15 years ago. He served as a first sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a rifle range instructor for the police department. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Terziu is survived by his sister, Vicky Yahn, Humble, Texas; son, Cpl. Terry John Terziu Jr., Fort Bragg, N.C.; mother, Mary Terziu, Winter Haven; daughter, T.J. Johnson, El Paso, Texas; brother, Bruce Kirk Terziu, Winter Haven; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Florida National Cemetery.
