OSSEO, Mich. -- Mr. Verne Pulsifer of Osseo, Mich., a winter resident of Winter Haven, died of heart failure Wednesday (April 5, 2006) in Winter Haven. He was 89.
Born in Chicago on July 5, 1916, he became a winter resident of Winter Haven in 1997. He was a metallugical engineer for United Technology. He was a member of Case Western Reserve Alumni Association. He attended Polk City Assembly of God.
Mr. Pulsifer is survived by his wife, Beverly Murray; sons, James Pulsifer, Chicago, Robert Pulsifer, Charlotte, Mich.; daughter, Nancy Permigaini, Pittsburgh; brother, Harrison Pulsifer, Moline, Ill.; sister, Carmen Bradley, Orange, Calif.; four grandchildren.
