WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. E. Judson Cole of Winter Haven died of cancer Monday (April 3, 2006) in Auburndale. He was 83.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on March 29, 1923, he came to Winter Haven from Connecticut 13 years ago. He worked for General Dynamics. He was also a Naval architect and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the MIT Club of Tampa. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Suzanne C. Cole; sons, Peter Cole, Gilbert, Ariz., Christopher Cole, Middlebury, Conn., Timothy Cole, Cape Cod, Mass.; daughter, Nancy Cole, Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church.
