| | David O. Ridenour SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Mr. David O. Ridenour of Springfield, Ohio, a winter resident of Lake Alfred, died of cancer Tuesday (April 4, 2006) in Winter Haven. He was 71.
Born in Springfield, Ohio, on July 21, 1934, he became a winter resident of Lake Alfred five years ago. He was a farmer and raised cattle. He retired from Navistar. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Hustead Fire Department. He attended First Christian Church in Haines City and Springfield.
Mr. Ridenour is survived by his wife, Marsha Ridenour; sons, Larry Ridenour, Springfield, Barry Ridenour, Monroe, Ohio; daughters, Sherrie Saultz, Portland, Ore., Terri Sparling, Newcomerstown, Ohio; sister, Carol Patterson, Portland, Maine; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in Springfield. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield.
