| | Fred John Schneider DAVENPORT -- Mr. Fred John Schneider of Davenport died of cancer Monday (Sept. 25, 2006) in Auburndale. He was 77.
Born in Northampton County, Pa., on June 4, 1929, he came to Davenport from Kissimmee four years ago. He was a retired senior engineer for AT & T in Allentown, Pa. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Pennsylvania, and the Rajah Shrine in Reading, Pa. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a Catholic.
Mr. Schneider is survived by his brother, John Schneider, Northampton, Pa.; sister, Loraine Yapsuga, Northampton.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
